We are bandaging wounds of the survivors of the earthquake in İzmir

As MSYD, we are continueing our field activities in consultation with our public authorities and institutions in order to mitigate the destructive effects of the earthquake in Izmir. Our Emergency Field Departments, which have been operating in the field since the first day of the earthquake, continue to work in counting and classification in designated warehouses, distribution in tent areas and container city, and mental health and psycho-social support together with our volunteer participants from Izmir province. In addition to such field studies, 105.550 masks, 2.200 coronavirus laboratory test kit consumables, 860 second-level emergency hygiene boxes, 830 first-level emergency hygiene boxes, 250 stoves, 60 tablets and 35 washing machines were successfully purchased and delivered to earthquake victims and AKUT teams.
